QuickBooks Online

Invoices and payments go to QuickBooks on their own.

Connect QuickBooks Online once from Settings. From then on customers, invoices and the payments on them sync while you are connected, with the status of each one visible in Orbit.

Orbit
QuickBooks Online
What syncs

Customers, invoices, payments.

A new client in Orbit becomes a customer in QuickBooks. A sent invoice becomes an invoice. A card payment becomes a payment against it. Each record keeps its link so nothing is created twice.

  • Customers matched by name and email
  • Invoices with their lines and tax
  • Payments and refunds against the right invoice

Safe

Your books, your login, your company only.

Orbit connects to QuickBooks with your own Intuit login and keeps the connection on the server, never in the browser or on a phone. Disconnect from Settings any time; what already synced stays in QuickBooks.

  • Connection held server-side, per company
  • Disconnect in one click
  • Sync status and errors shown per record

Questions about the sync.

Which plan has it?

Business. Pro has invoicing and payments inside Orbit; Business adds the sync, unlimited techs, profitability, truck stock, the audit log and the full export.

Is it two-way?

No. Orbit is the source and QuickBooks is the books. Invoices you write in QuickBooks do not come back into Orbit, which keeps one system in charge of what a client owes.

What if a sync fails?

The record shows the error in Orbit, with a retry. Nothing is silently skipped.

QuickBooks Desktop?

Not supported. QuickBooks Online only.

Try Orbit on your route for 30 days.

Add your clients and your techs, run a week. If it does not earn its place in the truck, nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
