Built on a real route, for the people who run one.
Orbit was not designed in a conference room. It is built by the owner of Fern's Pool Service in Madera, California, for the route that is still running, because nothing on the market fit the way a route actually works.
Fern's Pool ServiceMadera, California. Weekly service, repairs and spa work in the Central Valley. The first company on Orbit, and the one every feature is tested on.The problem
A pool route lives in three places at once: the notebook in the truck, the group text with the techs, and the spreadsheet in the office that is always a week behind. Readings get lost, a repair a tech mentioned on Tuesday is forgotten by Friday, and the month's invoices get typed from memory. The software that existed either charged per pool so the bill grew every time the business did, or was general field service software that did not know what a spa was.
What we did about it
We built the screens Fern's Pool Service needed and nothing else. The stop in the field app has the gate code and the dog before the water. Readings go in on a tap scale because a tech with wet hands does not want a keyboard. Chemical logs cannot be deleted because they are business records. Invoices come from the rate on the client, not from retyping. Every one of those decisions came from a Thursday with eleven stops in Madera.
How it is priced
A flat price per plan, with techs as the only seat. Unlimited pools, clients and office users on every plan, because adding a customer should not raise your software bill. Month to month, no annual contract, no card to try it.
What we will not do
We will not sell your data, we will not make it hard to leave, and we will not add features that make the app slower for the tech so a sales deck looks longer. The roadmap is public, including what we decided not to build.

Try Orbit on your route for 30 days.
Add your clients and your techs, run a week. If it does not earn its place in the truck, nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.
